Community Projects

Over the last two seasons, the Gateway Garden in the 600 block of Williamson Street has been transformed from a formal garden into a small urban park. The transformation included removing the formal garden bed, re-grading the area, and adding gravel pathways, retaining walls, raised beds, a paved patio and stone benches. Trees, shrubs, native plants, naturalizing bulbs and a gravel garden have been planted. The garden is now a place for bicyclists and pedestrians to rest, and for groups to gather.
